Land of the eternal spring offering 365 days a year of glorious sunshine. Today the Canaries are known worldwide for their diverse landscapes and the seven islands all have a character of their own. Fuerteventura is the second largest of all the islands, but the least discovered. Fuerteventura covers an area of some 1,737km2 and is some 17 million years old. The length of the island from North to South is some 132m with the widest point being 31km, narrowing to just 4.5km.
Fuerteventura is famous because of its 167km of white sandy beaches and its crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The colours of the ocean possess a spectrum from deep blue to turquoise. The clear mostly cloudless sky seems to be close enough to touch, whilst the natural landscape is mostly untouched. The geographical position of the island is the main reason why many people choose not only to holiday, but also to purchase a piece of paradise.
This makes Fuerteventura suitable for both investment and for those who wish for their dream holiday home. |
